True Stuff that I Made Up

Fanmail from Eileen Wiggins

Larry,
I'm sitting here going thru some old records of mine and guess which one I just found???
It's the one where you represented me in the grievance (many years ago, as a Labor Relations Specialist for the Maryland Classified Employees Association) when Maryland Chief District Court Judge Sweeney suspended me for 2 days without pay because I misspelled a name on a useless court document, to cover up for Charlie Schleigh's hit and run case.
Remember???
We had to go to Annapolis, Maryland for the hearing and, as you know, YOU won it for me and I got my money and had the charge removed from my file.
What a great guy you are, and believe me I will never forget all the times you came to my rescue when I was a State employee!!!
I still think you should run for President of the Maryland Classified Employees Association (MCEA) this year.
What are you waiting for???
We need you NOW!!!!

Eileen Wiggins, Retiree
(Former Washington County, MD District Court Employee)

My August 22nd Response to Eileen:
Eileen,
The copies of that old grievance and the newspaper clippings that you sent me have arrived in the mail, and I'm going to save (cherish) them with my handwritten personal journals.
I especially was moved by your trust in me, when you wrote to Joe Cook (former MCEA Director of Field Services), and told him that you demanded that your MCEA representation be "exclusively" by me.
Thank you so much for those wonderful memories and your friendship.
Larry
...and good night to you, Mrs. Callabash, whereever you are.

Larry - While many of us suspected, we all now know your history. You truly are the union crusader who saves damsels in distress. Take that, Snidely Whiplash!
