True Stuff that I Made Up

PLEASE NOTE: The entries which are published at this site are solely my personal and sometimes whimsical musings. For information regarding my political positions and proposals, please visit www.LarryKump.us.

Further, this website is devoutly dedicated to all of my friends and associates, both early and late, who have mentored and influenced me. However, being who they are, the majority of them have been late most of the time.

Huh?

All of us have our unique trials and tribulations throughout our lives, and it is by understanding, enduring, and overcoming them that we progress and become better and more blessed than we previously ever could have been.
Nevertheless, it previously perplexed me when some sympathetic friends congratulated me on my attitude about adversity, particularly when I really don't believe that my lot in life has been all that grievous.
In point of fact, I am so very grateful for all the amazing opportunities and miracles with which I have been so profoundly blessed.
As I continued to puzzle, ponder, and pray about all that I have experienced and how some could view those experiences of mine from such a different perspective, I was prompted to read the following:
"And I will ease the burdens which are upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs...that ye may stand as witnesses for me thereafter..." (Book of Mormon: Mosiah, Chapter 24, verse 14)
And so it has been for me, and, even though I am among the most
unworthy of all His children, I nevertheless know that my Redeemer lives and that He is the author and finisher of my faith.

Uh-Oh......

In a recent Melchizedek Priesthood blessing, administered to me just prior to our Sacrament worship meeting, under the hands of Elders Carl Wheeler and Charles Marvil, I was prompted about and promised many things.
Among those things was the promise that my "tongue will be loosened".
Afterwards, Brother Marvil wryly wondered if the world is ready for a further "loosening of (my) tongue".
On a much more serious and profound note, Brother Wheeler then told me that the "Spirit was so strong" when they laid their hands upon my head, that he "barely could choke out the words of the blessing through the tears", as we all were engulfed by the puissant power and love of God.
